Overdose on the positive stuff.
While you may have an interest in reading the news, watching upsetting or unsettling movies or documentaries etc, have you ever stopped to consider the effect it might be having on your subconscious mind?
“The subconscious mind is the powerful secondary system that runs everything in your life. Learning how to stimulate the communication between the conscious and the subconscious minds is a powerful tool on the way to success, happiness and riches.” Thrive Global.
“Your subconscious mind can give you independence of time and space. It can make you free of all pain and suffering. It can give you the answer to all problems, whatever they may be. There is a power and an intelligence within you that far transcends your intellect, causing you to marvel at the wonder of it all. All these experiences cause you to rejoice and believe in the miracle-working powers of your own subconscious mind.” Dr. Joseph Murphy
Pay attention to the information you are feeding your mind. Choose to fill your mind with something that will make you feel good. When you see yourself drawn to reading something that might upset you take a moment and consider if that is going to be helpful for you or not. Take something that you know makes you feel good and integrate it into your day. Find some joy in your day, feed your subconscious mind with positivity.
